Summer Afternoon Sympathy Card

Here is the other sympathy card I mentioned in my post on Wednesday, using an image from Summer Afternoon, one of the Hostess stamp sets.

I thought the empty swing was a different way of showing loss.  Here is a close up of the image stamped on Watercolour paper:

I used a combination of Watercolour Wonder Crayons from the Neutrals, Subtles and Brights sets to paint the image.

A close up of the sentiment, stamped in Soft Suede and from the Love and Sympathy stamp set, also shows that I have rounded this corner of the card and the layers.



 

 

 

The insert in this card has been stamped with the flower image from the Confetti set.

Card: Watercolour card, Soft Suede, Naturals White and copy paper for the insert

Inks: Soft Suede, Tango Tangerine (flowers on insert)

Other: Watercolour Wonder Crayons in Neutrals, Subtles and Brights, Aqua Painter
